Sympathy flowers FAQ
Q: Is there any inappropriate flowers to send to funeral
services?
A: No. Funeral flowers used to consist of only red and
white (and occasionally blue) flowers. While these
traditional arrangements are still requested, today's
trend is to create something more original and
personal. If you know that the deceased loved
Sunflowers and tulips, for example, it is absolutely
appropriate to send an arrangement consisting of
these "cheery" flowers.
Q: I found out about the funeral after it was all over.
What can I do?
A: Consider sending floral tributes to the family's
home, to show that friends haven't forgotten them.
