listed in phone directories (Yellowpage, etc). If a customer calls this number, her call will be re-directed
to a call center located in New Jersey without letting her know about it. They take her order and then
send it back to a real florist in Huntington to fill. The company who runs this operation, "Flowers with
Gifted Elegance" has been a subject of several critical news reports in other states.

who claims to be "proudly serving Huntington." This "florist" site shows up at the top of the list
(Sponsored link) when you google-search for " Flower shop in Huntington, NY. " Their ad title says
"Local Huntington Florist" and "Family-owned for over 90 years!"
This "Local Huntington Florist" is actually operated by:
The bottom line is that you don't say you are "serving" Huntington customers just because you send
orders to a real florist in Huntington. Because of their wonderful customer services, they are honored
with a hard-to-earn "F" rating from Better Business Bureau.

This florist again shows up in the same Google search. Their ad title says "Huntington finest florist."

This "florist" shows up if you Google for "Florist in Huntington, NY." Their site says "Beautiful flowers
delivered in Huntington, NY & area. Family owned & operated for over 30 years."
But do you know that this "Family-owned/operated" business is actually operated by:

This "Huntington" florist site features a picture of flower shop and what appears to be a delivery van. But
the company is actually located in:
6677 Orchard Lake Rd,
West Bloomfield, MI 48322.
We are curious to know how they can manage to deliver flowers to our town, Huntington, NY (unless they
ask a real Huntington florist, such as us, to do it). They would need a private jet, not a mini-van as
featured in the picture.

"Hand delivered flower arrangements to" towns in Suffolk county (our county)!", the site shouts. They
also claim "Florals.Com is not an order taking only online business, we are a major florist providing
local and nationally delivered flower arrangements."
But they are a florist located in New Jersey:
